• Benefit :However, they will also have a scholarship benefit as the 100 highest-ranking students will have their names marked in the merit list, which will include the 100-point reservation list by the State Government, and will receive a scholarship of Rs. 400/- per month over a period of 15 months.
• Preparation Support: To the students of Government and Government aided school who are registered, additional classes in Mathematics and Science will be arranged at a maximum of 4 hours per week or 4 weeks.

2. Tripura Science and Math Talent Search Examination (TSMTSE) – Class IX

This test is also known as the Tripura Science and Math Talent Search Examination which is aimed at students at the secondary level.

• Eligibility: Students in Class IX of Government, Government-aided, and Privately managed (recognized) schools are eligible.
• TSMTSE Examination Fee: A fee is paid on the TSMTSE:
  • Government / Government aided school students: Rs. 50 per student.
  • Workers of privately run schools: Rs. 100 per student.
• Scholarship Benefit: 200 students in each category, Science and Mathematics, according to merit list, will be entitled to a scholarship of RS. 500 p.m. over a period of 15 months. Notably, 60 percent of such scholarships are available to those who are in Government and Government-aided schools.
• Preparation Support: The students of Government and Government-aided schools will get special classes which will be conducted in total no more than 4 hours per week during the course of 8 weeks.

Key Dates and Application Schedule for the Tripura Talent Search 2025

The SCERT, Tripura, has released a comprehensive schedule for both the TJMSTSE (Class VI) and TSMTSE (Class IX). These dates are crucial for all applicants and coordinating schools.

Examination Pattern and Logistics

Both junior and senior examinations are on standardized methods of objective testing:

1. Pattern: The tests will be in Multi-choice questions (MCQ).

3. Medium: The State Talent Search Examination comes in English and Bengali.
4. Admit Card: From 15 th December 25 onwards, Admit Cards will be available online to be downloaded. Without the Admit Card downloaded and printed with the help of the login credentials, the students will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.

Schools are very important in this process. They are required to notify all the qualified students and offer support in filing the online application within the given deadline. Once the student has posted the application, the schools will have to confirm any application on the School Login Portal by the time the verification period (5th December 2025) ends.

Only valid applications will be taken to be valid to generate admit cards. The heads of schools are also asked to spread this notification as soon as possible and reach out to the appropriate District Education Officer (DEO) or SCERT in case of any technical support.
